Welcome to the Niagara Falls section of Discount Hotel Group. The surrounding area is home to many of Canada's most awarding winning wineries. The rich agricultural lands support farming of other fruits and vegetables, and has resulted in a flowering of cuisine, and a wide variety of dining choices from family friendly chain restaurants to fine dining, much of it based on local ingredients. The new Casino has brought renewed interest to this fascinating area, with hotel accommodation ranging from budget priced family style motels to four star hotel suites, (with more heart shaped jacuzzis per hotel than any other place in the world!) and shopping from funky to designer duds.

However, it's the Falls themselves that remain the most popular area attraction, with a splendid view available from the sidewalk - but watch out for the mist that, depending on the winds, can soak through clothes! Coveted falls view rooms are available in many hotels, and you can dine overlooking the rushing water, (careful for vertigo!) at the revolving Skylon Tower. There are many options for getting a more up close and personal experience of the Falls - like the famous Maid of the Mist, a boat that takes intrepid tourists in full rain gear out to the whirlpool area of the river, at the bottom of the Falls where the water comes down and churns the Niagara River before heading back to calmer waters down stream - or a helicopter ride can give you the bird's eye view.
